30th Annual Harvestfest
Tipton, Pennsylvania – The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are changing, and autumn is in the air. The area’s premier fall festival is gearing up for another exciting season finale at DelGrosso’s Park.
Harvestfest takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 24 & 25, 2016. The Park Grounds Open at 8am, Craft and Food Vendor Shopping Begins at 10am, and the Rides Open at 11am both days. Harvestfest will feature more than 150 Craft and Food Vendors. Fall food favorites like ham & bean soup, apple butter, apple dumplings, pierogis, and much more are all on the menu. A $6 Admission fee includes Rides and Entertainment.
Guests can take advantage of their last chance to ride the great Park Rides and enjoy the long list of entertainment scheduled throughout the weekend. On the Main Stage, the Harvestfest visitors will be entertained by Panfilov’s Pets Cat and Dog Show with performances at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm Saturday and then Noon, 2pm and 4pm on Sunday. Balloon Stunt Man James Johnson will amaze guests with shows on the Midway Stage both days at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm. Origami Artist Michael Roy will entertain near Murf’s Kitchen at 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm each day. Danny Grant will be joining us again with his interactive variety show on both sides of the Park, both days.
For Harvestfest visitors who like to visit with four-legged friends, a petting zoo is also going to be set up in the Park. History enthusiasts can take a walk back in time by touring the Civil War Encampment located at the Tipton Creek Railroad area in the Park. Cannons will signal the start of the reenactment shows each day at Noon, 2:30pm and 4pm.
On Sunday, visitors can enjoy the Antique Auto Club of America Car Show on the front lawn of DelGrosso Foods.
