31st Annual Harvestfest
Tipton, Pennsylvania – The temperatures are dropping, the leaves are changing, and autumn is in the air. The area’s premier fall festival is gearing up for another exciting season finale at DelGrosso’s Park.
Harvestfest takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 23 & 24, 2017. The Park Grounds Open at 8am, Craft and Food Vendor Shopping Begins at 10am, and the Rides Open at 11am both days. On Saturday, Vendors Close at 8pm and the Park Closes at 9pm. On Sunday, Vendors Close at 7pm and the Park Closes at 8pm. Harvestfest will feature more than 150 Craft and Food Vendors. Fall food favorites like ham & bean soup, apple butter, apple dumplings, pierogis, and much more are all on the menu. A $6 Admission fee includes Rides and Entertainment.
Guests can take advantage of their last chance to ride the great Park Rides and enjoy the long list of entertainment scheduled throughout the weekend. On the Main Stage, Harvestfest visitors will be entertained by the Martin Family Circus singing group at 1:30pm and 4:30pm both days. Balloon Stunt Man James Johnson will amaze guests with shows on the Midway Stage both days at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. Balloon Artist Louis Paul will entertain near Murf’s Kitchen from 12pm to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm each day. Magician Richard Benninghoff will entertain on the Murf’s Stage at 11am and 2pm each day. Danny Grant will be joining us again with his interactive variety show, strolling from 11am to 1pm and will entertain on the Midway Stage at 2pm and 4pm both days.
For Harvestfest visitors who like to visit with four-legged friends, a petting zoo is also going to be set up in the Park. History enthusiasts can take a walk back in time by touring the Civil War Encampment located at the Tipton Creek Railroad area in the Park. Cannons will signal the start of the re-enactment shows each day at Noon, 2:30pm, and 4pm.
On Sunday, visitors can enjoy the Antique Auto Club of America Car Show on the front lawn of DelGrosso Foods from 10am to 4pm.
