In 2024, DelGrosso's Park proudly commemorates the 100th birthday of its beloved Herschell-Spillman Carousel, a masterpiece of craftsmanship built in 1924 by the Spillman Engineering Corporation in North Tonawanda, New York.

This cherished carousel is the last original ride from Fred DelGrosso's acquisition of Bland's Park in 1946.

Each of the 36 meticulously hand-carved and hand-painted horses embodies a unique charm, with real horsehair tails and metal horseshoes. the lead horse, affectionately nick-named Ferdinand in honor of our park's founder, Ferdinand DelGrosso, proudly dons a red sash.

From the gentle rise and fall of the carousel to the nostalgic melody of its Wurlitzer Band Organ, every ride is a journey through time, weaving together past and present in a tapestry of joy and wonder.
